RASNet
The Southern Grampians and Glenelg Drought Committee was established in November 2006 and is now known as the Rural Adjustment Support Network (RASnet). The aim of the committee is to coordinate information regarding agency activities and to coordinate information dissemination to farmers and business. Membership includes DPI, Veterinary Association, Centrelink, VFF, WDHS, Rural Financial Counselling, Bush Nursing Centre, Glenelg & Southern Grampians Shire Councils and CFA. Activities undertaken have included the Farm Gate, Mental Health First Aid training, Drought Postcards, Farmers nights, and Gardening in the Big Dry workshops.
