SGGPCP are very excited that the Rural People Resilient Futures Project received a Highly Commended second place in the recent 2015 Resilient Australia Awards.

This project, which involved RMIT University, Southern Grampians Shire Council and the Department of  Environment, Land, Water and Planning, explored the social vulnerability of Southern Grampians and Glenelg communities to climate change impacts. The project focussed on identifying what could be done to improve services and build community resilience.        For more details about the project visit our website. Click here
